Со почит и искрена намера за унапредување на одржливоста и социјалната одговорност, Ви се обраќам со препорака вашето претпријатие да стане член на UN Global Compact, глобална иницијатива поддржана од Обединетите Нации.
Со приклучувањето кон оваа иницијатива, вашето претпријатие би добило пристап до глобална мрежа на партнери и ресурси, кои ќе Ви помогнат во дополнителното зајакнување на вашите оперативни и стратешки цели во областа на човековите права, трудот, животната средина и антикорупцијата.
Воедно, би сакал да нагласам дека членството во UN Global Compact е веќе практика кај истакнати компании од Северна Македонија, како EVN Macedonia AD Skopje, Adora Engineering Skopje - LLC, Makstil A.D. Skopje и TITAN Cementarnica USJE AD Skopje, што сведочи за важноста на оваа иницијатива во нашата деловна заедница.
Процес за аплицирање:
Вашето претпријатие може да ја започне процедурата за членство со пополнување на формулар на веб-страницата на UN Global Compact и поднесување на писмо за посветеност потпишано од извршниот директор. Ова писмо треба да ја изрази определбата за усогласување со десетте принципи на иницијативата.
Со цел да понудам дополнителна поддршка, ја приготвив и формалната верзија на писмото што би можело да се испрати до UN Global Compact како дел од процедурата за членство:

It is with great respect and commitment to the principles of sustainability and corporate responsibility that Public Enterprise “Vodovod i Kanalizacija,” a leading public institution in North Macedonia, formally submits its application to join the United Nations Global Compact initiative.
By aligning our operational and strategic priorities with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact—encompassing the critical pillars of human rights, labor, environmental stewardship, and anti-corruption—we aim to enhance the enterprise's role in promoting ethical and sustainable practices both locally and globally.
The engagement of esteemed organizations such as EVN Macedonia AD Skopje, Adora Engineering Skopje, Makstil A.D. Skopje, and TITAN Cementarnica USJE AD Skopje are current participants in the UN Global Compact and they serve as an inspiring benchmark, highlighting the relevance and value of this initiative to institutions in our country. Drawing from their example, we are eager to contribute to and benefit from this esteemed global network, fostering collaboration and innovation towards the achievement of shared sustainability goals.
As part of this commitment, Public Enterprise “Vodovod i Kanalizacija” is fully prepared to fulfill the membership obligations, including the submission of an annual Communication on Progress (CoP) report, demonstrating our alignment with the principles of the Compact and our continuous efforts to improve sustainability and accountability.
We believe that through this partnership, our institution will not only reinforce its reputation as a responsible leader within the public sector but will also serve as a model of accountability and sustainability for others in the region.
